Kusha Air Defence System: When Operation Sindoor was started, no country in the world had thought that India could also have weapons with so many lethal capabilities made under Make in India because the Indian Defense Ministry had been dealing with foreign weapons for the last several years. But for the last few years, special emphasis has been laid on indigenous weapons i.e. weapons made by self-reliant India. Even though difficulties were faced in the beginning, but slowly indigenous defense has started coming on track. Now it is also being used in border security. Now when the terrorist gangs and their buildings i.e. bases were attacked under Operation Sindoor, the whole world saw the rapid emergence of the three armies of India in the defense sector.

Kush vs S-400: India’s Bold Answer

There was a lot of discussion about S-400 in Operation Sindoor, which destroyed Pakistan's air attacks. Now India's indigenous defense shield Air Defense System Kush is ready to give a tough fight to S-400. Yes, Kush Air Defense System is ready to attack the enemies to do what the name suggests. When the enemy country Pakistan and its ally China will see the power of Kush Air Defense, they will hardly be able to prepare any air defense to protect themselves.

Development done by DRDO

Project Kush is an indigenous air defense system of India developed by DRDO, which is also known as ERADS i.e. Extended Range Air Defense System. In Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army noticed that drones and missiles could be used extensively in future war, as was done by Pakistan. Keeping this in mind, Project Kush is being brought, which is a long-range surface-to-air missile system, which can deal with any air threats.

Swadeshi is the first option

India also has the Russian air defense system S-400, but given the way the policy and strategy of war has changed, we cannot always depend on foreign weapons. The result of this is DRDO's dream project Kush, which can shoot down fighter-sized targets at a distance of 250 kilometers and large aircraft at a distance of 350 kilometers.
